Before Sunday originated in the greater Cincinnati region under the name "Break & Run". The original 5 members met at Highlands High School (Fort Thomas, KY) and formed a band for a school talent show. Shortly after re-forming in 2015, the band recorded with Grammy nominated producer Travis Wyrick on their debut EP, self-titled "Before Sunday", to signify the band's new identity. The band has had some member changes recently, and is now made up of 3 members, with frontman/guitarist Justin Dean being the only founding member left. The band also has connections to Michigan metalcore hard hitters Famous Last Words, and has played 5 shows with them.

The band currently has 3 endorsements (WBGear, Diemond Star Stick Compnay, & the Soultone Cymbal Company). The band also signed to Rock Avenue Records in October 2018 and looks forward to their opportunities with their first label.
